Hey! Welcome back to Grace’s blog 😊 Thank you for being consistent and always letting me have a part of your time. To my new readers, it’s such an honour to be graced with your attention and the presence of your mind. I hope this will not be the last time🥰.

My name is Grace Olabanji and contrary to what you think of me, I am the farthest from having this life thing figured out.

This blog is about eight months old now, and every week I share articles with you based on how I think we can navigate through life together. “Life is easier than you think, I like to write to make you see that

But I’ll tell you the truth, I haven’t figured anything out. Just like you, I am trying my best. I am an overthinker, and when I started journaling, it was an escape from my spiral. It became easier to keep a tab on my thought process, assessing it to measure my growth and mental health.

So, before I decided to start a blog – to share my thoughts and experiences with you- I wrote most of the things you have read on here to encourage and motivate myself. But what is the point of being selfish about it?  It is my coping mechanism through life, it could help you too.

So please, I do not want you to think that I am a guru or a life expert who has a perfect life and has everything figured out. This is me teaching myself how to go along on this journey and I wanted you to be a part of this learning process.

My posts about discipline, focus, hard work amongst others are also things that I struggle with. And you know what, it’s completely fine, the last thing I want is for you to feel pressured about what you read on here.

Someone once told me that success is not a destination but rather a journey. So, every day, you get something done that brings you closer to your goals, that’s success. It’s a never-ending process, even when you achieve your standard of success, there is something else to work for.

Sometimes I snooze on my alarm a few times before I get up, I don’t spend my money wisely on some occasions and can’t even look myself in the eye on some other days but on days that I can, I give it my best shot. The most important thing is not to give up, at the beginning of the year, I had a plan for this blog, it’s not there yet, but that has not stopped me from writing to you every week.

So even if you have skipped a few days of the new habit you want to inculcate, or your project is not where you envisioned it to be yet, it’s still okay. Just don’t stop.

Don’t go around thinking that other people have it figured out based on what you see or what they seem to you, they haven’t, but just like you, we are all learning and growing. You only know your own story, give it your best shot.

Thank you for always giving me some of your time. I’ll see you next week! Cheers!!!😊

Today’s song pick👇🏽

BANK ON IT – Burna boy – this song is personal for me because it reflects how what I do on here feels.
