So this past week has been joyous for me, I got surprises from two different people who are a real important part of my life and I can’t just stop counting my blessings. No I didn’t get a Bentley, neither did I win a trip to the Bahamas, but the joy I felt is equal to if not more than if I actually did.

I know everyone wants to make money and get the perfect picture life but the only thing that truly matters are your relationships with people you love and they love you right back. The joy that you’re a reason for someone’s happiness is immeasurable.

I read an article about helping each other find happiness, apparently we have been doing it all wrong, looking for happiness on our own, meanwhile true joy is living above self and helping the next person find happiness.

Life is full of surprises, sometimes good and other times bad but often times than not, we actually do have control over our reactions to it. You might have gotten a bad surprise this past week, but you don’t even know what tomorrow will bring, learn to look forward with hope and gratitude, the surprise each day will bring☺️
