Zodiacs II

This isn’t an excuse to have an unpleasant personality by the way, it doesn’t matter what your sign is, first you’re a human who interacts with other humans….

As much as I believe in zodiacs, it is no news that it is being abused. You can now associate your fault and misgivings with your sign. Isn’t that just wonderful? Except, no, it isn’t. It’s cowardly and a very lazy thing to do. Zodiacs don’t define you, and almost no other classification does except the biological male and female.

Asides that, every other attribute is on you. If you’re kind, lazy, nice, rude, proud, a player, too emotional, naïve; it’s all on you.

Now these are just adjectives. Let’s fire real shots. It doesn’t matter what your tribe, religion, race, class, culture or sign is. You have a responsibility for your life and, in case you don’t know, we take responsibility over here, like proper adults do. Not adults who look up quotes, excuses or sign reactions for their errors.

If there’s one good thing about classifications, it’s that it shapes your expectation. If it pans out as the characteristics say, you called it and if it doesn’t “oh what a pleasant surprise”

And who doesn’t like surprises? You know that feeling where someone or something defies standards and expectations? Yes, that, like men and women are scum, but there’s a wedding every other weekend.

If you can’t be the difference, how about you try the exception? If the zodiacs say leaders are only born in august, you can show them that a leader’s leader creates his own calendar. Haven’t you wondered how signs are the last classification you would think of when describing a great person? A typical description will go like this: name, age, sex, character, achievement, how they make you feel, struggles or flaws, background, and comparisons.

But then, for someone you wouldn’t consider as great; Oh, he’s a Capricorn, or that’s how Yorubas behave. Like I said in the last article – https://bit.ly/3VTGI0o (read here), humans put together all these classifications just so they could understand better. It’s okay to identify with them. What’s not okay is to use them as excuses.

What people expect because of who they think you are and who you really are, is miles apart. You can always choose your path and define the parameters of your class. You do not have to conform to the box. There’s the box and then there’s you.
