Is it just me or I’m not proud of my google search history, not because it’s illegal or immoral (which depends on your perspective), it’s just quite embarrassing according to my standards. Imagine asking google how to spell “fudge” after typing it as “furge” 😒. English is confusing please, I’m doing my best.
Speaking of things not to be proud of, my google search history is just an item on the list. I’m pretty sure it’ll be embarrassing if your list goes public too. Like an argument you didn’t win years ago, after carefully crafting your points just to end up saying something entirely different and regret in the shower later.
You still cringe when you remember, but you just can’t admit to anyone how you already won the argument in your head. It’s okay to have our cringe moments and also things we’re not proud of. It tells you where you need to work and shows what you have grown from. I will never spell fudge wrong again. And maybe write your points down next time for an argument (it works!)

Remember, you put these standards in place yourself, it’s okay to miss it sometimes. Why a wrong spelling is embarrassing to me is because I expect myself to be good with words, to know a lot of them and spell correctly; writing is all about words.
For you, it might be to still contact an ex that’s wrong for you, a draining addiction, or being your purest self when all people know is a fake version of you. Whatever it is, beating yourself up won’t change a thing, rather you should take active steps towards the mark you’ve set.
One wrong word or phone call doesn’t nullify all the other words you got right or when you chose not to call.
Set goals for yourself but don’t expect perfection. It frankly isn’t possible.
