It’s time to let go…

It’s okay to still feel slighted even after you have forgiven them. To find it really difficult to let go or forget about it. Because it’s a part of you now, you don’t know how to be without the memory of it, at least.

But it’s all okay, you just don’t deserve to be hurt anymore. You are here now because of all the choices you made, regardless of their part in your life at the moment. I know it’s difficult to see how you let it define you.

The pain has stayed its due course. Let it go.

Don’t wish them bad either, it’s not worth it and it only makes you a version of them. You’ve come a long way trying to go on with the memory still playing as a background music to your present.

It doesn’t matter anymore now. Let it go.

You have become someone you were not before them, and that’s okay. All that matters is that you know better now. They don’t have power over you and you aren’t to be fooled anymore. You have all the cards now; you don’t have to deal them any.

Life will go on regardless. Let it go.

You’re not done using it as a victim card? How long will it go on for? You’re clearly not at peace. A slight thought or reminder sends the bad memory wheels rolling again. Your hurt and disappointment as it’s fuel.

You’re too precious, let it go.

But there were so many wonderful memories too. How do you only see the bad ones? You want to only remember the good ones, but it’s tainted with shades of their wrong deeds. It’s like a shadow in the dark. You can’t see it anymore.

It won’t go away if you don’t let it go.

What, they’re not sorry? You don’t have closure or justification for their actions and yours? So how can you just let it go…

By deciding to let it go.
