Books open your mind to endless possibilities and worlds. There is so much to know and they give you that opportunity with every page turn. Reading is fun and I will never get over how you can be in a different world from the one you are in at any moment you choose.
So, here is a list of books I have read this year which I think you guys will love and learn from. Enjoy 😉
✔️The subtle art of not giving a fuck – Mark Manson
✔️Atomic habits – James Clear
✔️12 rules for life – Jordan B Peterson
✔️You are a badass at making money – Jen Sincero
✔️The four winds – Kristin Hannah

The subtle art of not giving a fuck
Life is suffering and the earlier you come to terms with that, the easier it gets for you. Although, what makes this suffering worthwhile are the endless possibilities of joy, love and family you could have.
Life’s uniqueness is that we get to choose an enormous percent of all its troubles. Mark explains in this book why you should only care about the things that help you have a great time here. He lets you understand a lifetime is short and why you should only give a fuck about the things that are fuckworthy.

Atomic Habits
Another unique thing about being is that tomorrow is not a guaranty and we have no control over our future. Despite that uncertainty, it is amazing how we put our hope in the future, how we think it holds endless possibilities, which it does if only we live today right. James gives us an in-depth analysis of how little things we do every day give the future we hope for. We all want to cultivate good habits and be a better version of ourselves. He tells us that even the tiniest steps taken everyday sets us on the right path to making our future great.

12 rules for life
This book has changed my life by changing my mindset. Jordan is a psychologist who has enough knowledge to know the truth behind your lies. He reveals the origin of so many ideologies we parade around in the world now whose origin were dishonest and selfish.
He put together 12 rules you need to live life that protect your mental health and give you worthy values. This book is deep, a significant challenge to your mindset, and the rules are basic and relatable.
Here’s one rule for today – Stand up straight with your shoulders back.

You are a badass at making money
Being a broke 20 something-year-old is one thing that stresses me. The motive for this book is; believe that you are and then you will be.
Fix your relationship with money and watch how things fall in place for you. You think you’re disciplined? tolerant? With a dash of determination? Well, Jen cuts through all your bullshit, exposing what you really think about money and how to fix it.
Asides that she is a talented writer and her writing style is simple yet hilarious which makes her points stick.

The four winds
What would a book list be without some fiction? ☺️☺️ If you’re into books like me, you’ll know how far and wide people’s imagination can go.
The four winds is a partly true story centered on the great depression era in the United States and focuses on a family who literally had to stand the test of time.
Here, you would understand how our pain thresholds are so different from each other, how freeing forgiveness is, and just how far people can stretch until they reach their breaking point. Kristin describes the beauty of a mother’s love who had to protect her children and be there for them.
